Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Piping Technician with hands-on experience in pressure piping, water systems, glycol, compressed air, steam, and underground plumbing. The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a project team.

Key Responsibilities:

Install, repair, and maintain pressure piping systems including, steam glycol, water, and compressed air lines. Read and interpret piping diagrams, schematics, and technical drawings. Perform underground plumbing installations and maintenance. Collaborate with engineers and project managers to meet project goals and deadlines. Ensure all work complies with applicable codes, safety standards, and company procedures. Conduct system pressure tests and safety inspections as required.

Qualifications:

3-5 years of mechanical piping experience, preferably in industrial settings. Proficient in working with pressure systems and various industrial fluids (e.g., water, glycol, compressed air, steam). Experience with underground plumbing practices. Ability to read and interpret technical documents and piping schematics. Certification in pipefitting, plumbing, or related trade (preferred but not mandatory). Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Valid driver's license and ability to travel to job sites as required. Willingness to travel to job sites across Ontario.
