The Industrial Millwright will be responsible for ensuring proper performance, planned maintenance and operation of production equipment and machinery.This position is located in Portage la Prairie, MB locationWhat We Offer:

What Youxe2x80x99ll Do:

• Carry out all work in a safe and professional manner complying with Roquette procedures, policies, and regulations.
• Ensure proper performance and operation of production equipment and machinery.
• Minimize production downtime by completing preventive maintenance inspections, planned work orders and responding to breakdowns/emergency repairs in an efficient manner.
• Must be able to weld, solder, and use cutting torches.
• Ensure high standards of workmanship quality are delivered to prevent manufacturing equipment breakdowns.
• Read and interpret drawings, blueprints, and specifications to determine equipment repair requirements.
• Able to estimate jobs material and labor requirements.
• Project repair estimations and provide feedback to the planners.
• Order necessary parts and materials and work with suppliers as needed.
• Complete maintenance shift report at the completion of each shift using computerized software.
• Ability to balance the schedule between planned maintenance jobs and new jobs (priority scheduling, PM compliance).

What Youxe2x80x99ll Need:Education:

• Must hold a certified Journeyperson industrial Millwright License or Equivalent issued by the Province of Manitoba or bear the Red Seal Certificate from another province.

Experience:

• Minimum of 3 yearsxe2x80x99 experience in manufacturing environment
• SAP knowledge is preferred

Physical Demands

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to speak or hear. The employee is frequently required to stand; walk, climb stairs, use hands and fingers to handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms; work in hot, cold and loud environments.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

• This is a 12-hour shift schedule 4 on (2 days/2 nights), 4 off.
