We are seeking to recruit an Industrial Millwright to work as part of our busy Maintenance Team with key responsibilities for undertaking preventative maintenance of plant and equipment. Key tasks include: RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Undertaking routine maintenance, troubleshooting and diagnosing hydraulic and pneumatic problems with associated equipment
• Supporting continuous improvement initiatives including pump installation, maintenance and repair
• Installing and fitting pipework, bearings, align gears, connect couplings and belts to precise tolerances
• Maintaining P&F Conveyors
• Undertaking preventative and predictive maintenance of equipment
• Responding to emerging situations, offering solutions and ideas to problems
• Performing maintenance of welding machines (Mig, stick, and copper brazing)

SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:

• Must be able to work 12 hour rotating continental (Days, nights, weekends)
• Must be able to read, interpret, and utilize blueprints, drawings, and manufacturing guides, and maintenance manuals
• Must be able to work from ladders, man lifts, and in confined spaces
• Excellent pneumatic and hydraulic troubleshooting skills
• Experience with replacing bearings, shafts, pulleys, cylinders etc.
• Machine shop skills: lathe, mill, grinder
• Heavy duty machinery maintenance rebuilding

The successful candidate will have a minimum of 5-8 years of related work experience ideally from an industrial/manufacturing environment and be a certified Millwright/Industrial Mechanic (Red Seal) and have completed a certified apprenticeship in the same trade.
