Job Description

We are seeking a

licensed Industrial Millwright (433A - Ontario)

with strong mechanical aptitude and sound electrical troubleshooting skills to support automation within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and optimizing production machinery to ensure maximum efficiency and contribute to automation-focused improvements across the facility.

Key Responsibilities:

Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair automated machinery and production systems. Perform and improve preventive and predictive maintenance on production and warehouse equipment. Provide technical assistance for robotics, CNC machinery, benders, welders, and other automated systems. Collaborate with Production, Maintenance, and Quality teams to enhance equipment performance and address recurring issues. Conduct root cause analysis for complex or repeat equipment malfunctions. Monitor and manage spare parts inventory. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace in accordance with 5S standards. Support production needs through occasional overtime or on-call availability.

Health & Safety Responsibilities:

Adhere to all Occupational Health and Safety Act (OHSA) regulations and company safety procedures. Immediately report any unsafe conditions, equipment issues, or hazards to the Supervisor. Promote a culture of safety and compliance throughout the workplace.

Qualifications & Experience:

Valid

433A Industrial Millwright License (Ontario)

- required. Minimum

5 years of hands-on experience

in industrial or manufacturing maintenance. Ability to interpret mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical schematics. Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving abilities. Experience with automated or robotic systems, including CNC and robotic welding equipment.

Preferred Assets:

Familiarity with PLC troubleshooting and computer-controlled machinery. Dual trade license (Electrician 442A) is an advantage. Competence in basic computer applications (Microsoft Word, Excel).
