We are seeking several dedicated Primary Care Paramedics (PCPs) to join our field team for ongoing work. This position reports to Operations Management.

Having Oilfield experience is an asset, but we are willing to train the right individual.

Responsibilities:

provide medical care in the event of an injury, illness or emergency within the scope of practice, represent Mountainview Safety Services Ltd. in a positive and professional manner, be punctual to job site/location, be fit for duty, clean, presentable, and wear appropriate PPE as required, be able to effectively handle and respond to stressful/emergency situation(s), sign in/out personnel on location, attend daily site safety/toolbox and operations meetings, assist in identifying any health hazards, near misses, and any worksite hazards, complete daily JSA (job safety analysis), fill out daily paperwork (safety meeting with head count, hazard identification, Medical ERP, accident/incident if applicable), complete daily inspections, inventories, and checklists for - Truck, AED, MTC Jump Kits, O2 kit and oxygen bottles; report any deficiencies, maintain cleanliness of truck, MTC, and all equipment.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills Maintain certification and licensing requirements, Complete client orientations and course requirements,

Skills:

Effectively organize and prioritize situations and activities ranging from urgent patient care issues to routine office duties, Experience with heavy lifting may be required for patient care procedures, Knowledge of medication administration protocols, Excellent patient care skills

PCP Licence/certification requirements:

Registered as PCP in AB/BC AFA ticket in addition to PCP (Required for WorkSafe BC work) Class 5 driver's licence with clean 3-year abstract and 3 years driving experience in Canada (required by insurance provider) H2S Alive - Energy Safety Canada CSO Certificate - Energy Safety Canada
