We are currently seeking an Industrial Mechanic (Millwright) that will work as part of our maintenance team in this manufacturing environment.

Please note that this posting is for our location at 1331 Chevrier Blvd with occasional travel to our other location @ 3420 Main St, West St Paul,*

Job Summary:



This position requires that the Millwright troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, or pneumatic problems with associated equipment. malfunctioning equipment, such as motors, pumps, valves, controls, and other machines.

The Millwright is responsible for performing preventative maintenance tasks on all machines / equipment.

The Millwright is also responsible for installing or dismantling machinery and equipment according to company plans, blueprints, and other diagrams. This will be accomplished through safe and effective practices.

Main Duties:



Analyze machine error messages and information obtained from operators in order to diagnose equipment problems. Interpret blueprints and schematics to determine work procedures. Align machines and equipment during installation. Adhere to assembly and installation instructions set forth in vendor manuals and specifications. Repair any problems associated with equipment. Record parts and material used; order or requisition new parts and materials. Identify and correct any problems found in machines, equipment, or processes in order to facilitate production. Leads apprentices and directs them to ensure successful task completion. Ensure that safety policies, quality standards, and standard operating procedures are followed. Perform preventative maintenance on machines and equipment Ensure ongoing compliance with local, national, and international standards and legislation

Employment Requirements:



Level 3 Millwright, 4th year or Journeyman Licensed journeyman with experience in moving, assembling, disassembling, troubleshooting, and repairing various types of machinery and equipment. Ability to detect, isolate, and identify irregularities and malfunctions in machinery and equipment. Able to fabricate new parts to replace defective parts during machine setup, maintenance, or overhaul. Demonstrated aptitude in reading and interpreting blueprints, diagrams, schematics, drawings, manuals, and specifications. Good written and verbal communication skills. Familiarity with ISO quality standards. Accurate and highly analytical. Experience in supervising and mentoring apprentices. Strong work ethic and positive team attitude is a must Must supply own basic mechanics tools

Working Conditions:



Safety equipment will be required, e.g. steel-toed safety boots, safety glasses/goggles, etc. Overtime as required
