This position will include

Shift Work.

Shift work at Oxford Frozen Foods is a rotating schedule of two weeks of days and two weeks of nights. This rotation includes every other weekend off. Specifics regarding the schedule will be reviewed with applicants.

Responsibilities

Work safely and independently Troubleshoot and perform moderate repairs in a highly automated factory Conduct Preventative & Predictive Maintenance inspections and repairs Collaborate with maintenance teams for timely repairs when necessary. Maintain a clean work environment

Qualification & Experience

Minimum Grade 12 Red Seal Journeyman Industrial Mechanic / Millwright would also be considered an asset, applicants with other related trades will be accepted. Stainless steel welding and fabrication experience would be considered an asset Experience in a manufacturing environment would be considered an asset

Desired Skills and Abilities

Electro mechanics: Repair automated mechanical systems Test, operate, and maintain robotic and automated packaging equipment Troubleshoot computer-controlled production equipment Possess technical understanding of automated production processes operating through a PLC. Ability to keep mechanical equipment operating safely and effectively Knowledgeable in using meters to diagnose electrical circuits The ability to work shift work
