Provide diagnostic, troubleshooting and repair on machine mechanical systems
Be proactive on providing regular inspections and preventative maintenance to reduce downtime
Assembly and disassembly and installation
Communicate with Production Operators to evaluate and assess necessary repairs
Read and interpret blueprints and machine manuals
Clean and lubricate machinery
Replace defective parts, test equipment to ensure it's operational and safe
Provide regular updates to Maintenance Leadership team on repairs and parts required
Welding, cutting, and brazing on various types of metal
Read blueprints and layout drawings.
Machining (lathes, milling machines, grinders).
Inspect, troubleshoot and identify problems with pumps, blowers, and compressors.
Install, remove, troubleshoot and repair conveyor systems.
Bearing lubrication, application, removal, and installation processes.
Inspect, troubleshoot and identify problems with hydraulic/pneumatic systems
Identify, select and inspect proper rigging techniques.
Inspect, troubleshoot and identify problems with gear drives.
Alignment principles and tolerances.
Other duties as assigned
5+ years of related experience in a manufacturing plant
A Millwright License 443A or 426A
Ability to obtain a structural welding certificate
The willingness to learn and be able to communicate in a team environment
Work from service manuals and with OEM
The ability to operate mobile equipment
