JayR Construction was built on one simple belief: people deserve better - better treatment, better leadership and better opportunities. Our founder started this company because he knew construction could be done differently: with exceptional quality, outstanding customer service, and a leadership team that values people. We involve our crews in decision-making, ask for their ideas on how to improve processes, and celebrate successes together. It's not one of those places where the boss barks orders from a distance -- we're right there with you, shoulder to shoulder, getting the work done as a team.
We know there are long days, traffic jams, and late nights. But what sets us apart is how we lead through it. Our president and founder believes in creating a fair, safe, and ethical workplace for everyone, with continuous training, a focus on safety, and genuine growth opportunities. For those who want to build their careers, there are paths to becoming a team lead or a supervisor. And for those who simply love doing great work and being part of a solid crew, there's a place for that too. We have big plans for the next five years, and joining us now means being part of building something incredible - a company built on respect, teamwork, and treating people right, unlike your typical construction environment.
Why Choose Us:
Modern leadership approach - collaborative, fair, and people-focused (no "old-school" shouting culture).
Our president isn't your typical construction leader. With a background in management, he's committed to continuous learning and personal growth. To stay at the top of his game in leadership, he invests in ongoing industry education and works with a business coach on a weekly basis to stay ahead. He leads by example, focusing on self-improvement so he can lead with purpose, not ego, and treat people the way he'd want to be treated. That mindset shapes everything we do.

Why Skilled Tradespeople Transfer to Flooring and Love it!
Every week brings something new, different job sites, new environments, and fresh challenges. You're not stuck on the same site year after year.
It's fast-paced but calm and controlled. We plan well, work smart, and keep the chaos out of the job.
It's a team effort, not solo work. Most of our applications need multiple skilled hands working together; we succeed as a crew.
You'll use specialized equipment and high-end power tools, which are all company-owned.
We work with new and innovative products across multiple finishes, from concrete polishing and epoxy coatings to floor and wall systems, capturing every surface possible under one brand.
You'll see the results of your work every week, watching raw floors transform into something incredible.
It's physically demanding but easier on the body than many trades, with less stress and more satisfaction.
We're building something rare, a culture that attracts the top 1% in skill and mindset. We value craftsmanship, pride, and growth over hierarchy.
If you're that overqualified framer, carpenter, or tradesperson who's bored with doing the same thing and wants to put your complete skillset to use, this is where you'll thrive.
What We Need From You:
You are an exceptional human; someone who takes pride in what you do, treats the company like it's your own, and understands that your attitude matters just as much as the quality of your work.
Have experience in flooring installation, preferred experience with polished concrete, epoxy coatings, or self-levelling systems.
