Internship available at Soucy Belgen \xe2\x80\x93 Drummondville

WHAT TO EXPECT

We are currently looking for a motivated industrial engineering intern to be an indispensable player in the production, maintenance and improvement of our products in the plant!

If you accept the challenge, your main mandate will be to actively participate in continuous improvement projects in the plant, being responsible for time studies and recommendations for workstation layout. You will have to collaborate daily with the production and manufacturing engineering departments (methods, tooling and quality).

Here\'s an overview of your tasks:

• Conduct time studies in various areas of the plant and for different processes
• Analyze the results, make recommendations and of course, actively participate in the implementation of improvements
• Participate in the follow-up meetings of the different projects in which you will be involved
• Write and/or revise work instructions that will guide operators in achieving efficient and productive work

WHAT WE\xe2\x80\x99RE LOOKING FOR

• You are studying at the BAC or technical level in industrial engineering
• You have a facility for dealing with people and have a real concern (no pun intended) for meeting their needs!
• You are familiar with the principles of value-added and the main wastes in production
• You master the concept of material flow

• The schedule is from Monday to Friday
