Bailey Electronics

is seeking an

Industrialization Engineer/Developer

who will be responsible for the development and introduction of designs, process, and tools to support the production of Bailey Electronics products. The Industrialization Engineer must possess a broad set of skills to align efforts in engineering, supply chain, and production to ensure the successful launch and delivery of new products.

Responsibilities

Provide oversight for realizing product designs into a production environment (Supply Chain, Quality, Process Development, Test Equipment Development, Packaging and others) Track and report on bill of material and labor targets for new products Ensure compliance to industry standards for environment, health, and safety Ownership of overall value stream for the production and delivery of product Plan, execute, and report on prototype, pilot, and pre-production build objectives Understanding of principles of Design for Manufacturing (DFM) and Design for Test (DFT) Good understanding of electrical schematic and mechanical assembly drawings Able to manage workload on several concurrent projects Must possess excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work well in a diverse and dynamic environment Specify production processes and test equipment Support ongoing initiative to integrate production systems into overall business tools Adheres to companywide and department specific technical and safety guidelines Applying Lean manufacturing skills to product and process development

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in engineering or Technologist Diploma or equivalent work experience Experience with Microsoft Office At least 3 years of work-related experience Working knowledge of electrical, software, or mechanical systems within mobile equipment Experience in a production/assembly environment including working knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles Experience in a waterfall and agile project management
