Industrial Shuttle Drivers

for our

Elkford, BC

The ideal candidate must be comfortable driving on steep and narrow road ways in all weather conditions, especially winter as these roads will be icy.

Responsibilities:

Drive company shuttle buses to transport workers from camp to worksite. Complete required paperwork such as log sheets, dispatch sheets, DVIRS, FLRA'S Notify dispatchers or company mechanics of vehicle problems. Chain up and down wheel in winter months. Operate all company equipment needed to communicate with company dispatchers such as radio, to receive information, updates, and passenger locations. Demonstrates behaviours consistent with the Company's Vision, Mission, and Values in all interactions with customers, co-workers, and suppliers Adheres to all company policies, procedures, and safety standards Maintain a clean, fueled, and safe bus Perform other duties as assigned.

Experience and Knowledge:

Minimum 3 years

industrial shuttle bus driving experience

2 years

of mountain driving experience Valid class 2 license with air brakes or class 1 and clean driving record CSTS certificate, First Aid and OSSA required Ability to chain up and down wheels Ability to interpret and implement company policies and procedures. Ability to communicate in English (written and oral)

$26.00 - $29 per hour

Additional Information:

When staying in hotel we will book it for you and provide $40/day for meal allowance While in camp food will be provided Drug and alcohol testing and a Criminal Record Check is performed during the hiring process.
