• Salary range for Industrial Designer between $51,000 and $76,000 CAD annually

At our facility in Guelph you can develop your full potential, sustainably, by applying your expertise within the Containerboard Packaging Group as an Industrial Designer :

• Lead the design process of paper based packaging from conceptualization to production, ensuring high-quality design projects that meet customer needs and manufacturing constraints
• Utilize technical design software such as ArtiosCAD to optimize designs and propose innovative solutions
• Develop prototypes and models to test form, fit, and function and troubleshoot production issues
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to gather project requirements, communicate timelines, and manage expectations
• Support the sales team and participate in technical client presentations to ensure packaging feasibility that meets customer demands and budget constraints.
• Research and recommend new manufacturing processes, materials, and finishes to enhance product quality and efficiency

• Minimum of three (3) years of experience in Industrial Design in the packaging industry
• Knowledge of ArtiosCAD is an asset
• Experience in designing packaging solutions for the automotive sector is a definite asset
• Possess strong design skills and desire to continue evolving in the packaging industry
• Utilize your innovative mindset and creativity to drive continous improvement and help with troubleshooting
• Communicate effectively with customers and stakehoders, fostering positive relationship and delivering exceptional service
