About us

Rockland Flooring is a global leader in the Laminated Truck Flooring market. Our manufacturing facility in West Lorne, ON utilizes state-of-the-art wood processing equipment and continuously invests in new equipment and process upgrades.

About the Opportunity

We are currently looking for someone to assume the responsibilities of the above position reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor. The Industrial Cleaner will work in our production facility performing industrial cleaning duties. The Industrial Cleaner's are currently working 10:30 pm- 7:00am Monday through Thursday, and Fridays from 5:00pm-1:30am; with overtime as required.

Job Duties

All department areas to be swept clean and all debris is to be collected and removed to designated containers throughout the facility. Assist with snow removal and de-icing as required in all entrances to buildings. Ensure cleaning supplies are available when needed. Will need to become Forklift Certified. Must follow proper lockout procedures and adhere to all PPE and safety requirements. Must be self-directed with good time management skills. Must have good mechanical aptitude. Dependable - which includes changing shift start and/or end times, including occasional weekend work. These are not all inclusive and may require other jobs to be performed.

Ideally your background involves experience cleaning in a manufacturing environment You must be reliable and punctual each day You can lift 25 pounds You can stand for the full shift (9 - 10 hours) Be able to work with both hands Physical abilities to perform all elements of the job You can work both independently and as part of a team.
