Job Description

ROTATION: 14 Days On, followed by 14 Days Off (inclusive of travel time)

HOURS OF WORK: 12-hour shifts

Lac Des Iles mine site is 700-person mining camp located roughly 2hrs outside of Thunder Bay. While working the 14 days on, you are required to live on site for those 2 weeks.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Clean crew cabins and common areas as per agreed schedule. Ensure that correct hygiene practices are followed in all areas of the installation and that the correct PPE is always used. Ensure correct use of cleaning products in accordance with WHMIS procedures and follow detailed cleaning schedules. Sweep and mop all office floors, empty all garbage, clean office workstations and clean any small fridges as per agreed schedule. Clean and replenish any coffee machine and supplies. Maintain allocated areas in a clean and hygienic condition Strip, polish, wax, and buff floors/corridors where required Sweep, Mop allocated areas as necessary. Utilize industrial equipment such as but not limited to floor polisher, Zamboni, waxing machine, floor scrubber, mops, and brooms

Must be willing to drive company bus round trip

QUALIFICATIONS

Highschool / GED Preference will be given to candidates with previous relevant experience Valid Workplace materials Information System Certificate (WHMIS) Ability to promote a positive safety culture by communicating with the entire workforce daily.

Valid Full G drivers license
