Our Calgary client is a trusted service adviser in the oil and gas industry, and they are expanding their operations! Specializing in the design and manufacture of analytical equipment, this assembly team is looking for a skilled Production Technician with a great attitude and willingness to learn to join them. Responsibilities:

• Assemble, and test products before shipment
• Read and follow diagrams, drawings, and instructions to accurately assemble components into finished products
• Report any issues or malfunctions promptly
• Provide any recommendations on sample system designs to Project Coordinators and Engineers
• Keep detailed production records
• Maintain equipment and a clean, organized workspace
• Adhere to quality standards and safety protocols
• Assist fellow Assemblers as required

Qualifications required:

• Ability to read and decipher schematics, drawings, and assembly instructions
• Good communication skills, both verbal and written
• Team-oriented with the ability to work independently
• Efficient and focused while working on repetitive tasks
• Attention to detail, and problem-solving skills
• Mechanical and technical expertise
• Physical stamina and strength
• Safety-oriented with a focus on quality control
• Excellent dexterity and hand-eye coordination including grasping, manipulating, and assembling parts and components that are often very small
