We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team. As a Line Cook, you will play a vital role in the kitchen, ensuring that meals are prepared to perfection and served promptly to our guests.

Duties

Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace. Should know Indian and Chinese cooking. Should know prepping of Indian Chinese dishes. Assist in menu planning and development, incorporating seasonal ingredients. Ensure all food is handled safely and in compliance with health regulations. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient service during peak hours. Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and assist with ordering as needed. Participate in catering events as required, providing exceptional service. Uphold high standards of food presentation and quality.

Skills

Proven experience in the food industry, particularly in restaurant or fine dining settings. Should know how to work on wok and high flame range. Strong culinary skills with experience in food preparation, cooking, and meal preparation. Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques. Excellent knife skills and familiarity with various cooking methods. Experience in dietary departments or as a dietary aide is a plus. Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while maintaining individual responsibilities. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in menu planning and execution.
