Support the integration of Indigenous knowledge and worldviews into organizational practices, policies, and staff learning. Offer informal cultural education to staff and collaborate on decolonizing and anti-oppressive program practices.

- Community Collaboration

Build and maintain strong relationships with local Elders, Knowledge Keepers, Indigenous service organizations, and Nations. Collaborate on shared programming, professional development, and cultural mentorship opportunities for residents and staff. Support cultural consultation processes and community-led approaches to wellness.

- Program & Shelter Operations

Provide on-call shelter support as part of a shared staff rotation. Provide transportation to residents under SOFIA House's transportation policy, including use of agency vehicles. Maintain clean, safe, and culturally safe program spaces. Contribute to professional casework documentation and monthly reporting that reflects engagement, partnership, and TRC-aligned progress.
