Inclusion Support Worker Needed -- Warm, Play-Based Co-op Preschool

Our loving, play-based co-op preschool is seeking an

Inclusion Support Worker

to support a joyful, curious 4-year-old child with higher needs. This position is

Tuesdays-Thursdays, 9:00 AM-1:00 PM.

We are a nurturing, collaborative environment where children learn through exploration, kindness, and fun. We're looking for someone who believes in inclusive practice and honours each child's individuality.

Support in expressive communication

Assistance with certain physical needs

Guidance in engaging with peers and classroom routines

What We're Looking For

We are seeking someone who:

Holds

ECEA or RA certification (minimum requirement)

Shows deep respect for the child

, their autonomy, and their pace Understands how to

encourage participation with peers

, helping the child join play and group activities Knows

when to step in and when to step back

, supporting independence while providing safety and connection Collaborates easily with teachers and caregivers to foster a positive, inclusive environment Is warm, patient, playful, and responsive to children's cues Has experience in inclusive support, child development, or early childhood settings

Role Responsibilities

Provide one-on-one support to the child during preschool activities Facilitate communication, social interaction, and peer engagement Support mobility or physical needs as required

Assist the school as a whole

when direct support to the child is not needed Maintain a calm, encouraging, and inclusive presence in the classroom

Schedule & Details

Tuesday-Thursday

9:00 AM-1:00 PM

Warm, co-operative preschool environment

Start date: January

, with the possibility of beginning in
