We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Support Worker to provide exceptional care and assistance in a child care setting. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in supporting with daily activities, ensuring their safety, comfort, and well-being of the individual that needs the support. Responsibilities
Help navigate challenging moments
Aid in expressing feelings, opinions throughout the day/afternoon
Offer emotional support to promote mental well-being
Document progress accurately and communicate with the facility director and parents on a regular basis
Follow care plans tailored to individual needs, including SMART goals and an individualized support plan
Experience
Early Childhood Education degree/diploma, Social Work background (asset)
Experience in a childcare setting (asset)
Experience working with children who have behaviour challenges (asset)
Knowledge of the New Brunswick Early Learning Framework (or willingness to take the course)
First Aid Course (asset)
