Bright Minds Early Learning Centre is a licensed and designated early learning centre on Fredericton's Northside. We provide childcare services to children aged 6 months to 5 years.

Inclusuon support workers are responsible for working with one or more children.

Complete the Inclusion Support webinars, the 90-hour Introduction to Early Childhood Education course or the 30-hour course: Introduction to Early Learning and Childcare (as per the wage guidelines) and other relevant training. o Collaborate with other educators and the operator in the learning environment to: o Observe, document, and reflect on the individual needs of child/ren they are supporting. o Engage and involve families in the plan to support the child/ren in the program. o Collaborate with professionals and service providers to create and contribute to a plan to support child/ren. o Collaborate with school services/supports (Educational Assistant, resource team) and contribute to planning whenever possible. o Use strategies and make adaptations/accommodations to help set the child(ren) up for success. o Provide a "just right" level of support to allow the child(ren) to fully participate in the same activities and routines as their peers by knowing the child(ren)'s support needs. o Take the child(ren)'s strengths and interests into consideration. o Provide opportunities to work towards independence whenever possible by decreasing support as skills improve. o Seek opportunities for the child/ren to develop friendships with peers and relationships with others. o Allow opportunities to practice regulation of emotions (when applicable). o Guide the child(ren) in how to follow directions, ask questions and make requests
Successful completion of a Social Development Check and Criminal Record Check is required. Applicants must also hold a current First Aid & CPR Certificate.

Job Types: Full-time, Fixed term contract

Pay: $18.95-$25.91 per hour
