Your Challenge:
The Quality Inspector will maintain an organized system for the handling of the following:Product and raw material inspection
Inspection defect analysis reports
Certificates of Conformance forms (C of C)
Surveillance Inspection Reports, checklists
Quality Control Surveillance Reports
Inspection Logs
All quality/manufacturing documents for storage and retention, if necessary
Ensure that inspection targets, quality requirements and schedules are maintained.
Provide recommendations for continuous improvements
Conduct surveillance inspections in the manufacturing areas to ensure compliance to manufacturing procedures
Support SMT QC as needed
Provide support for both Receiving Inspection of raw material and Final Inspection of manufactured product as needed
Provide recommendations for continuous improvements
Contribute to a healthy, orderly, safe working environment through a positive attitude and constructive feedback.
QC Inspectors may be trained to perform IST Testing to support manufacturing operations.
What You Bring:Technical Diploma in related field
2 - 4 years' experience in quality inspection of military electronic products
Certified IPC-A-610
Good communication skills - spoken and written
Good computer skills (Word, Excel, Microsoft Exchange)
SAP and EM Quality skills are an asset
