Overview


We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Sober Living House Manager to oversee daily operations within a supportive recovery environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a compassionate approach, and a comprehensive understanding of behavioral health, addiction recovery, and community care. As the House Manager, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe, structured, and nurturing environment that promotes sobriety, personal growth, and community engagement for residents. This role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact in individuals' lives while ensuring the smooth functioning of the sober living facility.

Duties



Supervise and coordinate daily house operations, ensuring adherence to policies and procedures that promote safety and recovery. Provide crisis intervention and conflict management to address resident concerns promptly and effectively. Oversee intake processes for new residents, including screening, documentation, and orientation to house rules. Manage medication administration and monitor residents' behavioral health needs with sensitivity and professionalism. Facilitate behavioral health and addiction counseling sessions or coordinate with external providers as needed. Maintain accurate data collection, entry, filing, and record-keeping related to resident progress, incident reports, and compliance documentation. Conduct regular security checks to ensure the safety of residents and staff within the facility. Implement behavior management strategies to support residents' personal development and sobriety goals. Coordinate with social work teams, case managers, and community resources to support residents' transition plans. Ensure compliance with applicable regulations such as LIHTC (Low-Income Housing Tax Credit) requirements and home & community care standards. Maintain cleanliness, organization, and safety of the living environment through routine inspections and sanitation practices. Provide leadership in fostering a positive community atmosphere that encourages accountability, respect, and mutual support among residents.

Requirements



Strong crisis intervention skills with the ability to de-escalate tense situations effectively. Experience in childcare or working with vulnerable populations is advantageous. Knowledge of security protocols relevant to residential facilities. Background in addiction counseling or behavioral health is highly desirable. Excellent conflict management and communication skills to engage with diverse individuals compassionately. Familiarity with case management practices including intake procedures and service planning. Ability to administer first aid confidently when necessary. Competence in data entry, filing systems, data collection methods, and medication administration protocols. Home & community care experience that demonstrates adaptability in dynamic settings. Payment is $2,000 per month and includes living accomodations and arrangements.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $1,800.00-$2,000.00 per month
