Overview


We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Import/Export Coordinator to manage international shipping and logistics operations within our warehouse. The ideal candidate will have experience with warehouse management systems, shipping & receiving, and order fulfillment processes. This role is essential for ensuring smooth import/export activities, accurate inventory management, and timely delivery of goods. Candidates with warehouse experience, familiarity with RF scanners, pallet jacks, reach trucks, and MRP systems will excel in this position. The Import/Export Coordinator plays a vital role in supporting our e-commerce and warehouse distribution operations.

Duties



Coordinate and oversee import and export shipments, ensuring compliance with customs regulations and company policies Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) and AS400 to track inventory, shipments, and order status Operate forklifts, reach trucks, pallet jacks, and order pickers to load/unload goods safely and efficiently Manage shipping & receiving activities, including packing, labeling, and documentation preparation Assist with order picking & packing using RF scanners to ensure accurate order fulfillment Maintain stock levels through proper stocking procedures and inventory control techniques Support warehouse distribution by organizing stock movement and storage solutions Collaborate with logistics providers to schedule pickups/deliveries and resolve shipment issues Perform basic math calculations for inventory counts, order quantities, and shipment weights Ensure safety protocols are followed during all warehouse operations

Qualifications



Previous experience in warehouse management or distribution centers preferred Proficiency with warehouse management systems (WMS), RF scanners, AS400, and MRP software Ability to operate forklifts, reach trucks, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in order picking & packing processes Basic math skills for inventory counting and shipment calculations Experience with shipping & receiving procedures including documentation requirements for import/export Knowledge of warehouse safety standards and protocols Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy Prior experience in e-commerce fulfillment or stock management is a plus

Job Type: Full-time
