The

Implementation Consultant, Solution Deployment

is responsible for guiding customer stakeholders through the implementation process and possesses a demonstrated expertise of clinical and technical processes related to pharmacy, nursing workflows, and

BD Medication Management Solutions technologies

. Projects range in scope from small hospitals or pharmacies to large health system level implementations requiring standardization across provinces or regions.


The Implementation Consultant will work with the customer to gather customer requirements, define best practices, design decisions and consult in the development of policies and procedures. The Implementation Consultant performs


the required tasks in alignment with the toll gate implementation process to ensure timely Go-Lives and customer satisfaction. The Implementation Consultant must have the ability to establish collaborative working relationships with cross-functional and interdisciplinary project teams

This field-based position in either provinces BC, AB, SK, MB, ON, QC, NB, NS, should reside near a major airport to facilitate travel across Canada

, which requires up to 80% travel. Travel may fluctuate based on project and team needs.

Job responsibilities:



Leads customer site and workflow assessments and facilitates the project design and implementation phases for BD Medication Management Solutions. Provides team support and product, clinical and technical information related to BD Medication Management Solutions. Manages customer stakeholder teams, gain consensus within teams and delivers concise and consistent communication. Facilitate conference calls and customer meetings to progress the design and implementation goals in collaboration with the BD and Customer project managers and teams. Establishes rapport with customers that is conducive to long-term business relationships. Demonstrates problem solving, troubleshooting and system consultation as it relates to pharmacy and nursing best practices in Medication Management workflows Demonstrates knowledge of pharmacy/clinical workflow processes, pharmacy formulary builds, hospital, retail and long-term care & pharmacy system integration, clinical device settings, interface validation (ADT, billing, patient profile), user account role design, active directory. Demonstrates critical thinking and ability to aid customers in improving current business and clinical practice and operations. Install, validate and train end users on the use of BD Medication Management Solutions technologies (software & hardware) . Maintains documentation related to customer projects, expenses, compliance documentation and reports.

Education and Experience required:



Bachelor's Degree or College diploma (Business, Science, Health Sciences or similar field) 5 years of related work experience in a medical device or healthcare environment with clinical and technical involvements. Must hold a

Canadian

Registered Pharmacist (RPh)

or

Registered Pharmacy Technician (RPhT)

designation.

Knowledge and Skills required:



Fluency in English (read, speak, write) Strong verbal and written communication, consultative and learning skills. Strong decision making, problem solving and troubleshooting skills Detail oriented, able to multi-task and implement complex projects consistent with established BD and customer objectives. Possess excellent organization and time management skills, with the flexibility to readily adapt to change. Proficient with MS Office Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, OneNote, and CRM (Salesforce preferred)

Preferred qualifications:



Knowledge of Infusion, Dispensing and Pharmacy Automation technologies. RN or IT professional certification will be considered, with relevant experience in pharmacy workflows. Experience working with clients in hospital, retail and long-term care pharmacies an asset. Demonstrated ability to effectively train users on product usage and best practices. Effective working knowledge of the Canadian Food and Drug Act and Regulations, GMP Regulations and Guidance, Medical Devices Regulations, and ISO13485:2016 an asset. Fluency in French preferred (read, write, speak)

Physical Demands and Work Environment:



Physical ability to lift at least 40 lbs. (18 kg) as needed. This position may involve pushing, pulling, stooping, bending, and lifting.

This field-based position in either provinces BC, AB, SK, MB, ON, QC, NB, NS, should reside near a major airport to facilitate travel across Canada

, which requires up to 80% travel. Travel may fluctuate based on project and team needs. Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license and a past clean driving record for a minimum of 3 years; as well as meet BD's auto safety standards. Attend training on assigned BD instruments as required and must be able to travel to the US for training purposes within the first 6-months of employment and periodically thereafter as required.

Responsabilites



Diriger les evaluations du site et des flux de travail du client et facilite les phases de conception et de mise en oeuvre du projet pour les solutions de gestion des medicaments BD. Fournir un soutien a l'equipe et des informations sur les produits, cliniques et techniques liees aux solutions de gestion des medicaments BD. Gerer les equipes de parties prenantes chez le client, obtenir un consensus au sein des equipes et assurer une communication concise et coherente. Faciliter les conferences telephoniques et les reunions avec les clients afin de faire progresser les objectifs de conception et de mise en oeuvre en collaboration avec les chefs de projet et les equipes de BD et des clients. Etablir avec les clients des relations propices a des relations commerciales a long terme. Demontrer ses competences en matiere de resolution de problemes, de depannage et de consultation sur les systemes en ce qui concerne les meilleures pratiques pharmaceutiques et infirmieres dans les flux de travail lies a la gestion des medicaments. Faire preuve d'une connaissance des processus de travail en pharmacie/clinique, de la constitution de formulaires pharmaceutiques, de l'integration des systemes hospitaliers, de vente au detail, de soins de longue duree et pharmaceutiques, des parametres des dispositifs cliniques, de la validation des interfaces (ADT, facturation, profil des patients), de la conception des roles des comptes utilisateurs et de l'annuaire actif. Faire preuve d'esprit critique et d'une capacite a aider les clients a ameliorer leurs pratiques et operations commerciales et cliniques actuelles. Installer, valider et former les utilisateurs finaux a l'utilisation des technologies des Solutions de gestion des medicaments BD (logiciels et materiel). Gerer la documentation relative aux projets des clients, aux depenses, a la conformite et aux rapports.

Education et Experience requises :



Baccalaureat ou diplome collegial (en administration, sciences, sciences de la sante ou dans un domaine connexe) Cinq ans d'experience professionnelle pertinente dans le secteur des dispositifs medicaux ou des soins de sante, incluant des responsabilites cliniques et techniques Doit detenir le titre de

pharmacien(ne) autorise(e) au Canada (RPh)

ou de

technicien(ne) en pharmacie autorise(e) (RPhT)


Connaissances et Competences requises :

Qualifications preferees :



Connaissance des technologies d'infusion, de distribution et d'automatisation pharmaceutique. Certification d'infirmier(re) diplome d'Etat ou de professionnel de l'informatique sera prise en consideration, avec une experience pertinente dans les processus pharmaceutiques. Experience de travail avec des clients dans des pharmacies hospitalieres, de detail et de soins de longue duree est un atout. Capacite averee a former efficacement les utilisateurs a l'utilisation des produits et aux meilleures pratiques. Connaissance pratique efficace de la Loi sur les aliments et drogues et de ses reglements, des reglements et directives sur les BPF, des reglements sur les instruments medicaux et de la norme ISO 13485:2016 est un atout. Maitrise du francais (lu, ecrit, parle) est preferable.
