Varian Executive Partnership (VEP) Clinical Consultant is a clinical operations leader for the VEP program that is focused on solution execution, customer service and client retention by deeply understanding the customers strategy, business model and success metrics. Customers will consist of complex, multi-site organizations looking to implement high functioning service lines.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
Delivers consulting project activities, through medium- to long-term engagements requiring varied interpersonal and technical skills.
Technical responsibilities include evaluating business processes, recommending process changes, process documentation, problem identification, hardware/software specification and/or design, change management, testing recommended strategies, identifying client training needs, and solution deployment.
Performance is typically evaluated based on utilization, (i.e., billable hours) and contractual deliverables.
Project activities include interaction with company and client managers, ensuring congruency from consulting through training and implementation.
May have some financial responsibilities including project cost estimating, and proposal generation.
May participate in sales and proposal presentations in addition to completing ongoing team account activities.
Identifies additional product/services opportunities in customer organization. Viewed by customers as a consultant.
Performance is typically measured by delivery of agreed solutions within budgeted hours
Applicable to the Oncology Systems business only: Position must have full access to VMS client sites to perform the essential functions of this position. Many VMS clients require VMS employees and representatives to meet certain "Vendor Credentialing" requirements before they will be allowed to have access to their sites. Unless prohibited by law, position must meet all Vendor Credentialing requirements necessary to have full client access, and must continue to meet those requirements during the course of VMS employment in this position.
This role can be based anywhere in Canada with up to 60% travel requirements across Canada and in the US.
Minimum Required Skills and Knowledge:
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent Radiation Therapist, Dosimetrist, Physicist, or Nurse.
Minimum of 5-7 years clinical/technical experience.
Minimum of 3 years in job role.
Must be able to facilitate and present information transfer both in person and remotely
Product knowledge and ability to conduct demonstrations
