We are looking for a meticulous and organized Caseworker to manage and maintain immigration case files. This role involves handling both physical and electronic documents related to immigration applications, ensuring that all records are accurate, up-to-date, and filed in compliance with immigration regulations. The Caseworker will support the immigration team by organizing files, retrieving documents as needed, and assisting with audits or reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
Organize, file, and maintain immigration case records systematically.
Review documents for completeness and ensure proper classification.
Retrieve, prepare, and provide documents for staff, clients, or authorities when required.
Maintain confidentiality and security of sensitive immigration information.
Track deadlines, application statuses, and document submissions.
Assist in audits, reporting, and other administrative tasks related to immigration files.
Support the team in improving filing processes and record management systems.
Requirements / Qualifications:
Minimum 2 years of work experience in Canada, preferably in filing, records management, or immigration casework.
Knowledge of immigration documents, procedures, and compliance requirements is an asset.
Strong organizational, time-management, and attention-to-detail skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and electronic filing/document management systems.
Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.
