The role involves client communication, document collection, checklist management, application assembly, and coordination with assigned lawyers or RCIC consultants. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, client-focused, and have strong knowledge of Canadian immigration processes.
Key Responsibilities
Act as the first point of contact for clients regarding immigration applications.
Assess client needs and determine the type of immigration file/application involved.
Provide clients with
document checklists
and ensure timely collection of required information.
Review and organize supporting documents for completeness and compliance.
Compile and prepare immigration application packages according to IRCC requirements.
Liaise with assigned immigration lawyers or RCIC consultants to confirm application strategy.
Track case progress and maintain accurate file records in office systems.
Ensure confidentiality and compliance with office policies and professional standards.
Assist with notarization and certified translation coordination where required.
Provide ongoing client support, responding to inquiries in a professional and timely manner.
Qualifications
Certificate or Diploma from a recognized Canadian institution in Immigration Studies, Immigration Case Management, or a related field.
Minimum
1 year of experience
in a law firm, immigration consultancy, or related legal/administrative setting.
Strong understanding of
Canadian immigration systems, IRPA/IRPR regulations, and IRCC procedures
.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and case management systems.
