Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Clinical Assistant to join the medical clinic located in the Dufferin/Steels area. The Clinical Assistant will play an important role in supporting medical staff and ensuring high-quality patient care.
NOTE: We are hiring one international medical graduate
(IMG)
for this positionThe in-person interview for the selected candidates will take place downtown at Nikali Clinic, while the workplace is in the Dufferin/Steels area.
The position is
casual/part-time
, ranging from15-20 hours per week.Responsibilities
- Assist physicians with patient care activities
- Maintain a clean and organized clinical environment
- Record patient information accurately
- Prepare and clean the room for each patient
- Communicate with patients
Skills
- Experience in patient care within a hospital or clinical setting
- Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of EMR is an asset
- Social media skills are an asset
Job Types: Part-time, Casual
Pay: $18.00-$21.00 per hour
Work Location: In person
