The organization also delivers some province-wide health services and supports centralized administrative and business functions for Manitoba health organizations.Position OverviewUnder the general direction of the Charge Imaging Service Technologist, the incumbent is responsible for servicing radiological equipment and radiological related equipment throughout Winnipeg sites. Examples of such equipment could include Nuclear Medicine Equipment (SPECT/CT), general radiographic equipment, computed tomography (CT), magnetic resonance scanners (MRI), digital cardiac and angiographic equipment, and accessory equipment.NOTE: A market adjustment will be processed in August 2024. Adjusted hourly rates will be shared during the interview process.Experience

  • 3 years of previous experience servicing imaging equipment.
Education (Degree/Diploma/Certificate)
  • Successful completion of a recognized two-year electronics training or Biomedical Technology program required.
Certification/Licensure/RegistrationMust be certified as an Electronic Engineering Technologist by CTTAM (Certified Technicians and Technologists Association of Manitoba Inc.) within 3 months of eligibility.Qualifications and Skills
  • Must have a working knowledge of MS Office productivity software.
  • Must exhibit excellent interpersonal and English communication skills, both oral and written.
Physical Requirements
  • Manual dexterity required.
  • Stands and moves about during most of the working day.
  • Bends, stretches, lifts and carries materials or accessory equipment.
  • At times, may be required to push or pull heavy equipment.
  • Access to a personal vehicle to travel between sites within Winnipeg is required.
  • Must possess a valid passport and ability to travel to the United States for training as required.
