Job Description


Main Duties:

Reporting to the Director of iGaming, this position is responsible for the overall management and execution of external and internal marketing activities related to SIGA\'s iGaming programs. SIGA offers online gaming (iGaming) to residents of Saskatchewan, including casino style games, poker, and sports betting.

Responsibilities include: lead the development, planning, scheduling, and implementation of marketing strategies to support campaign goals and to acquire, retain, and reactivate players. Act as an official representative in marketing planning discussions, and negotiate with internal and external stakeholders and partners. Identify emerging marketing opportunities and bring forward new sponsorships. Develop creative solutions to problems in an environment that is constantly evolving. Provide direction for analysis of customer behaviour and draw comparisons of other customers of SIGA products and services. Develop and negotiate local celebrity endorsement contracts, VIP player appreciation events, and promotional programs. Monitor promotional merchandise inventory and usage. Monitor and implement processes surrounding winner prize awards and presentations, while complying with regulations and integrity guidelines, and ensuring the winning experience is positively received. Develop corresponding detailed budgets to support iGaming marketing campaign activities, and provide monthly updates and budget reports to the Director iGaming. Oversee the development and implementation of program policies and procedures. Develop performance expectations for each marketing campaign, review the results of each campaign and make recommendations for the feasibility to repeat or modify those campaigns. Establish and maintain positive working relationships with all internal and external stakeholders and partners. Champion Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) by integrating CSR practices into projects, products, plans, and work practices, and assessing the risks and opportunities associated with gambling products. Participate in other projects and activities as required, in support of SIGA\'s iGaming initiatives.

Conditions of Employment

  • Successful candidates are subject to a background check as well are required to obtain and maintain a gaming employee Certificate of Registration from the Saskatchewan Liquor and Gaming Authority (SLGA)/Indigenous Gaming Regulators (IGR).
  • The minimum age to work in a casino or any area where gaming can be seen is 19 years of age.
  • Must possess valid Saskatchewan Driver\'s License and acceptable driving record.
  • Some SIGA locations operate in a high sensory environment. You may be required to work in an environment where you will be exposed to tobacco smoke, high noise levels, flashing and blinking lights, and a congested workplace. SIGA adheres to all occupational health and safety regulations and makes every effort to limit the adverse effects of these elements.

  • Compliance with all regulatory requirements as may be applicable to your position including but not limited to both SLGA requirements and the Anti-Money Laundering requirements set out in the Proceeds of Crime (Money Laundering) and Terrorist Financing Act and regulations and policies made thereunder by Canada and FINTRAC.
Qualifications

Education
  • Successful completion of a bachelor\'s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Commerce, or a related discipline.
  • A combination of relevant education, training, and experience will be considered.
Experience
  • Experience in marketing, advertising, and promotions with an emphasis on direct marketing, online marketing, customer relationship management, and market campaign planning and execution.
  • Experience in analyzing markets, their segments, and customer profiles.
  • A solid understanding of advertising, e-marketing, and direct marketing best practices.
  • The ability to analyze and solve problems independently using good judgment, strong leadership and organizational skills, adoption of best practices, strong initiative and ability as a self-starter, and the ability to plan and manage budgets.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and networking experience.
  • Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook).
  • The ability to use and maintain databases is an asset.
  • Solid understanding of website content management & design and online communication vehicles is an asset.
  • eCommerce or related experience (including online and/or mobile payments) is an asset.
  • Ongoing professional development is required to keep current with changes in the industry.
  • This type of previous related experience is typically gained through a minimum of three years in a similar role.
