About this opportunity
Reporting to the Manager of IT Security, the IAM specialist position is responsible for the life-cycle of access and identity management. As a member of the IT Security team the role would contribute to the access role design, access reviews, system integration, and policy development and maintenance. The IAM specialist is expected to lead projects in the IAM discipline, act as a subject matter expert, and participate in daily operations for incident and problem management as related to any IT Security team capabilities.   • Provide user access and de-provisioning processes and control design, deployment and sustainment;
  • Implement and maintain of IAM technologies and related infrastructures;
  • Identity application integration, single sign-on (SSO);
  • Identify and initial assessment of new IAM initiatives;
  • Lead the completion of IAM reviews and identified add/change/deletes;
  • Identify and / or address internal process or access control deficits;
  • Manage and review directory sources (e.g. Azure AD);
  • Test new identity services, in particular integrations;
  • Identify and handle access exceptions;
  • Patch Management of Identity and Access components (Active Directory, Identity Sources, Etc.);
  • Develop and maintain IAM policies and procedures;
  • Work with the Manager of IT Security, to document and develop an overall IAM strategy;
  • Contribute to risk management efforts within the organization to include meeting with various stakeholders to understand and document current risks, identify risk owners, assist with the creation of risk treatment plans, and document ongoing efforts to manage risk in alignment with organizational risk appetite using the Risk Register and dashboard;
  • Own and operate key controls supporting company compliance frameworks: ISO, SOC 2, regulatory, etc.;
  • Develop and maintain IAM policy, standards, and best practices;
  • Represent the IAM role in multiple forums;
  • Participate in the maintenance of an IAM centric risk register that identifies gaps;
  • Conduct risk assessments and / or access reviews project, system and software lifecycles identifying controls and risks Identifying and executing on items for remediation of IAM gaps identified;
  • Keep abreast of new developments or industry trends within and outside of the company.

What you need to be successful
  • Two (2) years or more experience in implementing and supporting Identity and Access Management systems.
  • Experience configuring IDM systems based on the direction of senior IAM resources.
  • Experience performing validation, integration and user acceptance testing on IAM systems using test scripts developed by the IAM team.
  • Experience in troubleshooting issues in complex, interconnected IT systems.
  • Experience creating and maintaining technical and end user documentation for IAM systems.
  • Ability to support and train other IAM team members and end-users on the proper use of the IAM systems.
  • Knowledge of retail/e-commerce business is preferred
  • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Keen attention to detail.
  • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a fast paced environment.
