We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Ice Cream Maker to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating delicious ice cream and ensuring a delightful experience for our customers. Your creativity and attention to detail will play a crucial role in crafting high-quality products that keep our customers coming back for more.

Duties

Prepare and mix ingredients according to established recipes for various ice cream flavors. Operate ice cream machines and other kitchen equipment safely and efficiently. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, adhering to food safety standards. Assist with cashiering duties, including handling cash transactions and operating the POS system. Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with customers, taking orders, and addressing any inquiries or concerns. Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, reporting any shortages to management. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours.

Requirements

Previous experience in food preparation or food service is preferred but not required. Familiarity with cashiering and POS systems is a plus. Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Excellent customer service skills with a friendly demeanor. Knowledge of food handling practices and safety regulations in the food industry. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being self-motivated. Must be able to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks associated with food preparation.

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: From $17.20 per hour

8 hour shift Monday to Friday Weekends as needed
