Job Overview:
We are seeking a friendly and customer-oriented Counter Attendant to join our team. As a Counter Attendant, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service and ensuring the smooth operation of our establishment. Duties:
- Greet customers in a warm and friendly manner
- Take customer orders accurately and efficiently
- Operate the cash register and handle cash transactions - Maintain cleanliness and organization of the counter area
- Assist with preparation in the kitchen, washing dishes as needed -Sweeping, mopping and maintaining cleanliness of the establishment - Follow proper food handling and safety procedures
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient service Skills:
- Previous experience in a restaurant or food service setting is preferred
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to provide exceptional service
- Basic math skills for cash handling and order processing
- Familiarity with point-of-sale (POS) systems is a plus
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of food handling and safety regulations
