I. Core Qualifications

1. Educational Background & Major

Bachelor's degree or above in Latin, Education (Latin Language Track), or other related fields;
oPriority given to candidates holding IBO officially certified IB teaching credentials.

2. Language Proficiency

Proficient in Latin, with solid foundations in grammar, literature, and vocabulary, capable of teaching from beginner to advanced levels; Fluent in English , able to conduct IB classes, develop lesson plans, and engage in cross-cultural communication proficiently in English; Priority given to candidates holding authoritative Latin certifications.

II. Teaching Experience & Competencies

1. Teaching Experience

At least 3 years of Latin teaching experience (priority given to candidates with IB curriculum teaching experience, or experience in international schools or bilingual schools); Familiar with the IB curriculum framework , and understanding the teaching objectives, assessment standards, and inquiry-based teaching methods of IB Latin.

2. Teaching Competencies

Ability to independently design IB-aligned lesson plans, teaching activities, and assessment schemes, with an emphasis on fostering students' critical thinking and inquiry skills; Proficient in integrating classical culture and historical context into teaching to help students understand the connection between Latin and Western civilization;

III. Comprehensive Qualities

1. Passion for Latin teaching and the dissemination of classical culture, recognition of IB educational philosophy, and emphasis on cross-cultural communication and students' all-round development;

2. Good communication and coordination skills, able to collaborate effectively with students, parents, colleagues, and school management;

3. Willingness to participate in curriculum development, textbook revision, teacher training, and various academic activities of the school, with a consciousness of continuous learning and professional improvement;

4. Strong sense of responsibility, rigorous academic attitude, and flexible teaching adaptability.

Pay: $30.00-$50.00 per hour
