Hydrovac Swamper/operator
Job Description
We are looking for a HydrovacSwamper/ Operator with a preferred 1 years of experience. This position allows you to be trained by a professional operator. This position requires a candidate to be able to listen to directions and quickly apply the learned knowledge.
Responsibilities:
Complete the Driver's daily pre-trip, and post-trip vehicle inspections, logbook, accident, or incident reports
Operating and maintaining a clean and orderly vehicle (interior and exterior)
Comple necessary daily maintenance and clean out of truck
Willingness to work overtime, as required
Willingness to assist in civil construction duties if needed
Ability to travel to other locations for periods of time for projects
Experience working in underground utility construction, civil construction or landscaping is an asset
Capable of reading underground locate maps
Class 3 license minimum (Not mandatory for there swamper position)
Clean drivers abstract
Working Conditions:
Able to meet the physical requirements of the position which involves sitting, standing, bending, climbing, lifting (up to 50 pounds), and in all types of weather conditions (rain, snow, heat etc.)
Ability to problem solve and come up with solutions to work related situations
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour
Experience:
Swamper/Operator: 2 years (preferred)
Licence/Certification:
Class 3 Licence (required)
Work Location: In person
