Overview

We are seeking a skilled Hydrovac Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in heavy equipment operation and have experience in excavation and construction environments. As a Hydrovac Operator, you will be responsible for safely operating hydrovac trucks to perform excavation tasks while ensuring compliance with safety protocols and regulations.

Duties

Operate hydrovac trucks for safe and efficient excavation of soil and debris. Conduct routine inspections of equipment to ensure proper functionality and safety. Collaborate with team members to execute excavation projects effectively. Utilize heavy equipment such as dozers, loaders, backhoes, excavators, and graders as needed. Perform horizontal drilling tasks when required. Maintain a clean and organized work environment on-site. Follow all safety guidelines and protocols to minimize risks during operations. Communicate effectively with project managers and other team members regarding project status and any issues that arise.

Qualifications

Proven experience in heavy equipment operation, including but not limited to dozers, loaders, backhoes, excavators, graders, and paving machinery. Strong mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot equipment issues as they arise. Valid commercial driving license (CDL) is preferred. Familiarity with horizontal drilling techniques is a plus. Ability to work in various weather conditions and physically demanding environments. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team setting. Previous experience in construction or related fields is highly desirable.
