Veterinary Assistant/Animal Care Attendant/Client Service Representative

Responsibilities ACA:

- Assist veterinarians during examinations and procedures
- Provide compassionate care and handling of animals
- Maintain clean and organized workspaces, including exam rooms and kennels

- Monitor the health and behavior of animals
- Communicate effectively with pet owners, providing updates and education
- Perform basic laboratory tests and assist with diagnostics
- Support the team in daily operations and emergencies

-Maintain surgical equipment

Responsibilities CSR:

-Our veterinary receptionists are responsible for booking examinations and surgical procedures, coordinating with insurance companies as well as contacting other clinics for medical record transfers.

-Inventory management, placing and receiving product orders from suppliers will be a daily activity.

-Exceptional client communication skills with a positive and friendly demeanor

-Be able to help animals of all temperaments feel more comfortable at the veterinary clinic

-Strong knowledge of common veterinary medical issues

Requirements:

- Previous experience as a veterinary assistant or in animal care
- Knowledgeable in animal handling, medical terminology, and basic veterinary procedures
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Compassionate, patient, and enthusiastic attitude
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Flexible schedule, including weekends
