Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled HVAC Installer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years (minimum) and a strong background in HVAC systems, including installation, maintenance, and repair. This role requires mechanical knowledge and the ability to read schematics, along with experience in various aspects of HVAC design and service. The HVAC Installer will work on residential and commercial projects, ensuring that all installations meet industry standards and customer expectations.

Duties

Install, maintain and repair heating, ventilation, air conditioning (HVAC) systems according to specifications and schematics. Perform routine maintenance and repairs on HVAC systems, including refrigeration units and boilers. Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with HVAC equipment using tools such as an ohmmeter. Collaborate with other technicians to ensure efficient installation processes and high-quality service delivery. Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used during installations. Adhere to safety protocols while working in various environments, including residential properties and commercial buildings. Provide excellent customer service by addressing client questions and concerns regarding their HVAC systems. Assist in the training of junior technicians or apprentices as needed.

Experience

Proven experience as an HVAC Installer or similar role in construction or property maintenance. Familiarity with HVAC design principles, plumbing, refrigeration, and mechanical systems is essential. Previous field service experience is preferred, along with a background in appliance repair or equipment repair. Knowledge of ammonia refrigeration systems is a plus. Welding skills are advantageous for certain installation tasks. A valid driver's license is required for travel to job sites. Requirements:

3-5 years of HVAC installation and repair experience preferred Strong mechanical, electrical, and troubleshooting skills Ability to lift heavy equipment and work in tight or elevated spaces Valid driver's license and clean driving record Excellent communication and customer service skills Gas Fitter G2 (Required) Oil Technician OBT 2 (preferred)

Work Environment:

Residential, commercial, and industrial job sites Work may be indoors or outdoors, in all weather conditions May require weekend or evening hours for emergency services

Pay: $25.00-$35.00 per hour
