Precision HVAC Service Technician

HVAC CORE COMPETENCIES

Installation capabilities associated with various heating and air conditioning equipment and ventilation systems Able to accurately diagnose the cause of problems and/or failures in either heating or air conditioning and ventilation systems so as to assess and identify equipment and/ or systems repair Inspect HVAC systems and their components (e.g. heating units, building exhaust fans, ventilation units, etc.) to evaluate their condition as needed Identify necessary repairs and recommend preventative maintenance upon inspection Install/repair heating and air conditioning systems and/or their components (e.g. pumps, motors, air handlers, furnaces, c/c units, piping, etc.) Perform routine and preventive maintenance of commercial rooftop systems Own and properly maintain service vehicle with up to date insurance in place Ensure tools and equipment are in good working order Transport equipment, tools and supplies to and from job sites when required Read and interpret shop drawings and control schematics Be safety conscious Inform management and/or team regarding status of work orders - repair status, updating activity log etc. Perform any other duties, deemed necessary that may arise and are assigned

REQUIRED CERTIFICATES

Gas Fitter II License, valid and issued by T.S.S.A. Air Conditioning & Refrigeration License Ozone Depletion certification (ODP) WHIMIS and Fall Arrest Valid Ontario Driver's License - a driver's abstract is to be submitted once an interview is scheduled for confirmation

Pay: $22.00-$30.00 per hour
