We are seeking a skilled HVAC Technician (Journeyman or Apprentice preferred) to join our expanding team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and experience in HVAC systems, including installation, maintenance, and repair. This role requires a hands-on approach to troubleshooting and problem-solving in residential and commercial settings. The HVAC Technician will work with various tools and equipment, wiring diagrams and blueprints, ensuring efficient operation of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. This role requires the individual to be available during the weekdays and scheduled weekends.
Duties
Install, repair, and maintain a variety of HVAC systems including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, hot water tanks/tankless water heaters, and ventilation equipment.
Perform thorough system inspections, diagnostic testing, and precise troubleshooting.
Respond to service calls, scheduled maintenance and repairs for refrigeration and HVAC mechanical equipment
Troubleshoot to ensure the system is functioning properly following repairs
Perform schedule and unscheduled repair and maintenance on residential and commercial mechanical equipment
Effectively communicate and update all information regarding assignments to the office
Collaborate with team members to ensure projects are completed on-time, accurately, and with the highest quality standards
Communicate effectively with clients, answering questions and providing guidance on system usage and maintenance
Adhere to all company policies, local building codes, and safety regulations.
Build and maintain positive relationship with customers and team members.
Maintain service vehicle inventory and cleanliness

Qualifications:
Journeyman-level experience or completion of two-four years in a recognized HVAC apprenticeship program (fifth-year apprentice or greater).
Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, equipment, and related components.
Valid 313 Refrigeration License or 313 Apprenticeship preferred.
Gas 3 license; Gas 2 or Gas 1 is considered an asset
Ozone Depletion Prevention certificate
Valid G license with a clean driver abstract
Solid understanding of safety procedures and building code compliance.
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
English language proficiency (read/write/speak)
