We're looking for G1 HVAC Technicians to join our team in the Greater Toronto Area. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and servicing various HVAC systems, while leading by example to ensure top-tier customer service and team collaboration.

As an HVAC Technician at Smith and Long, your key responsibilities will include:



Troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing HVAC systems:

You will be responsible for diagnosing and fixing various types of HVAC systems, ensuring they are running efficiently and effectively.

Providing detailed work orders:

You will document all work performed and note any deficiencies found, ensuring clear communication for the team and the customer.

Customer communication and professionalism:

As a direct representative of Smith and Long, you'll communicate clearly with customers, always upholding the highest standards of professionalism and customer service.

Collaborating with team members:

You'll work closely with other skilled professionals to ensure that tasks are completed efficiently and to the highest standards.

Adhering to safety policies:

Safety is paramount, and you will be expected to follow all company health and safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment.

Providing guidance to apprentices:

You will mentor and guide apprentices, sharing your expertise and helping them grow in their roles.

Communicating with office staff:

You'll ensure that service tasks are completed on time and professionally, keeping the office informed about job progress.

What YOU bring to the table:



313A License and G1 Gas Technician License (required), along with an ODP License. 2-5 years of field experience as an HVAC Journeyperson, with the ability to handle complex systems and troubleshooting. Boiler experience is an asset, as you'll work with heating systems in various commercial and industrial settings. A strong customer-focused attitude, ensuring top-notch service and satisfaction on every job. Teamwork skills that enable you to collaborate effectively with your team and contribute to a positive work environment. Strong verbal communication skills to interact with clients, team members, and office staff clearly and professionally.
