HVAC Service Technician/Installer

Precision HABC Ltd. is a small company with a friendly work environment. We have been in business since 2017, servicing the Greater Toronto and surrounding areas and we are looking to expand.

We are looking for an experienced HVAC Service Technician/Installer for residential, commercial and industrial work. Service experience is a must.

Responsibilities & Duties

Primary focus will be on maintenance and repair of all types of HVAC equipment and indoor air quality accessories for our residential, commercial and industrial customers; Installation as required Perform rooftop service and installation as required Read blueprints and install or repair HVACR systems Perform maintenance, service and installations to desired manufacturer specifications in accordance with all mechanical codes, and job specifications, resulting in a complete and excellent working system. Travel to job sites within the time frames provided by the office. Perform cleaning/repair work as per the work order. Document the work done and recommendations. Troubleshoot and diagnose faults related to commercial, residential and industrial HVAC/R equipment. Perform specific and general equipment inspections, relating to HVAC/R. Repair or replace worn or defective parts Abide by up to date information in regards to any HVAC/R equipment, code and regulation. Adhere to all safety rules and procedures and relevant regulatory requirements. Candidates must be able to provide excellent customer service, time management, fluent in English language with great troubleshooting and problem solving abilities.

Skills and Experience Requirements

Must have minimum 5 years direct experience in HVAC units service and installation Excellent knowledge of gas codes, safety requirements and transportation of dangerous goods Must be able to communicate clearly and effectively with employees and customers. Willing to keep company vehicle clean and maintained. Proven problem-solving skills Strong multi-tasking skills with the ability to keep up with shifting demands Team player

License/Certification required:

Gas fitters II (G2) license minimum to install gas Valid G Drivers License and insurance
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.60-$37.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 - 40 per week
