We are seeking a skilled HVAC Installer/Plumber to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in plumbing, heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. This role involves installing, maintaining, and repairing HVAC systems in residential and commercial settings. A commitment to safety and quality workmanship is essential.
Duties
Install HVAC systems according to manufacturer specifications and local codes.
Perform routine maintenance on heating and cooling systems to ensure optimal performance.
Troubleshoot and repair HVAC equipment,, including ductwork and refrigerant lines along with plumbing repairs.
Read and interpret schematics to understand system layouts and installation requirements.
Weld and plumb components as necessary for system installation or repair.
Maintain accurate records of work performed, including service reports and inventory.
Collaborate with other technicians and contractors to complete projects efficiently.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a clean work environment.
Skills
Proficient in HVAC installation techniques and practices.
Strong mechanical knowledge related to HVAC systems and plumbing.
Ability to read and interpret schematics effectively.
Capable of welding and plumbing tasks as required for installations.
Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and clients.
Ability to work in various environments, including confined spaces or heights.
