Climate Experts Heating & Cooling Inc. is an Independently owned HVAC business in Pickering, ON L1W 3X1.

We are looking for Helpers for the Re & Re and Custom Home Divisions with high personal standards of work, willing to learn at a rapid pace and develop knowledge in quality installation of Residential HVAC equipment.

Duties

- Work well with your lead hand and a crew to efficiently install, Heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems in Custom Homes, and/or Re and Re environment. - Installations include Heat Pumps, Furnace, Air Conditioners, Boilers, Tankless and Traditional Hot Water Tanks.
- Experience in Ductwork installation and Sheetmetal work is considered a Bonus.
- Must be open to learning on the job and accepting of constructive criticism.
- Work efficiently within the scope of work assigned while using your problem solving skills and communicating solutions when encountering unforeseen issues.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used
- Maintain work truck in a clean and organized fashion ensuring all required stock is on board before arriving on site

Skills

- HVAC mechanical knowledge and aptitude and willingness to learn.
- Ductwork skills and aptitude
- Ability to read and interpret schematics and blueprints
- Own your own hand tools and power tools and be proficient in using them.
- Knowledge of HVAC codes, regulations, and safety standards
- Experience with welding and soldering techniques for joining pipes and fittings
- Familiarity with plumbing principles for connecting HVAC systems to water lines
- Ability to troubleshoot issues related to installation of HVAC systems effectively and communicate proposed resolution with mentors when you need help.
- Strong communication skills and willingness learn from Senior technicians.

Note: Additional skills such boiler or hydronic experience are a plus.

The ideal candidate will have a 1-3 years installation experience with a strong mechanical background and be coachable in all aspects of the trade.

The ability to work independently and as part of a team. Attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to safety are essential for success.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $19.00-$26.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 50 per week
