Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Handy Man to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a diverse skill set in maintenance and repair tasks, demonstrating proficiency in various home improvement projects. This role requires a hands-on approach to ensure that all tasks are completed efficiently and to the highest standards. The Handy Man will be responsible for performing repairs, installations, and general maintenance in residential and commercial properties.

Duties

Conduct routine maintenance checks on buildings and equipment. Perform minor repairs on plumbing, electrical systems, and HVAC units. Install fixtures such as light fixtures, ceiling fans, and appliances. Handle carpentry tasks including door repairs, window installations, and cabinetry work. Assist with painting, drywall repair, and flooring installations. Respond to service requests in a timely manner while ensuring customer satisfaction. Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used. Ensure all tools and equipment are properly maintained and stored.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Handy Man or similar role in maintenance or repair work. Strong knowledge of plumbing, electrical systems, carpentry, and general home repair techniques. Ability to troubleshoot issues effectively and efficiently. Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Strong communication skills to interact with clients professionally. Ability to work independently or as part of a team. Must possess a valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Physical stamina to perform manual labor tasks including lifting heavy objects.

Job Type: Fixed term contract
Contract length: 2 months

Pay: $26.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 50 per week
