CHB Group is in search of a

HVAC Designer.

The successful candidate will be a dedicated, hard-working individual who takes pride in their work. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, configuring, and maintaining building automation systems to ensure optimal operation and efficiency. They will be expected to troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise, while ensuring that all systems meet required regulations and standards. They will be responsible for reviewing project mechanical drawings, specifications, vendor shop drawings, creating designs for building automation systems, as well as creating graphic packages for different projects. They will maintain excellent rapport and build long-term value-based relationships with customers. With their enthusiastic and ambitious energy, they will provide the highest quality of customer service and will play a definite key role in enhancing our corporate image and reputation.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Design, quote, program, and optimize building automation systems to ensure energy efficiency, user comfort and all necessary regulations and standards Create different HVAC mechanical graphical backgrounds along with point identification. Mapping/binding of those points with the database on the Graphical User Interface Provide input, review and may prepare shop drawings and wiring diagrams, based on project plans and specifications, showing location of devices, equipment, and wiring etc. Liaise with Project Manager, clients, contractors, partners and vendors to manage the Engineering design of the project in a successful manner Proactively communicate engineering schedules, change order proposals (as applicable) and related engineering activities on a regular basis to the Project Manager and seek to continuously improve customer satisfaction Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve complex technical issues related to automated systems Perform regular maintenance and update software as necessary Coordinate with other professionals such as engineers or architects in the design and implementation of automation systems Coordinate with contractors and vendors for system installation and maintenance Conduct system tests to verify and validate control sequences and programming Monitor system performance and make necessary adjustments to ensure optimal efficiency Prepare and maintain documentation of system configurations and procedures Develop and maintain in-house engineering standards, libraries and procedures Provide technical support and training to end users, ensuring they understand how to operate the automation system Monitor the building automation system to identify and resolve issues promptly Analyze energy usage and suggest methods to improve efficiency Document all actions, including system changes, updates, and troubleshooting steps Prepare and/or review formal submittal booklets containing schematics, and technical literature as necessary to support each contract Other duties as assigned
Beneficial Skills and Requirements:

Familiarity with HVAC, electrical systems, and energy management. An understanding of HVAC, electrical systems, and energy management is crucial for this position Able to interpret blueprints, engineering specifications, project plans or other technical documents Proficient computer skills (Outlook, Excel, etc.) Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills Knowledge of relevant regulations and standards Ability to work independently and in a team Excellent communication and training skills Must have a valid driver's license and provide a driver's abstract Must have a valid passport
