Our specialized services include house design, permit, renovation, new construction, project management, and technical consultancy for both residential and commercial projects all over the GTA.

We are seeking an HVAC & Plumbing Designer. Probably a Mechanical Engineer or Technologist with experience in HVAC and plumbing system design

for residential buildings

. This position is ideal for professionals looking to work in a remote office environment while contributing to a dynamic, customer-focused, and multi-disciplinary team.

Key Responsibilities:

Design HVAC and plumbing systems for residential homes in compliance with OBC and municipal standards

Prepare and review mechanical drawings, calculations, and specifications

Coordinate and manage building permit applications and follow up with local municipalities

Liaise with clients, city officials, and other consultants throughout the project cycle

Provide project management support, including scheduling, document control, and coordination

Ensure designs meet applicable codes and energy efficiency requirements

Qualifications:

Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Engineering Technology, or equivalent diploma

BCIN certification for HVAC/plumbing or building services is preferred

Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in residential mechanical system design

Proficiency in AutoCAD, HAP, or other HVAC design tools

Strong communication and time management skills

Ability to work independently in a remote setting

Familiarity with OBC and municipal permitting processes
