Job Description

Ricci's Group of Companies started in 1974 and has since expanded to four different companies that include haul, harvest, road construction, and wood chipping. Currently Ricci's Group of Companies is hiring a Human Resources Coordinator / Payroll Assistant to help grow, improve, and maintain our companies.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

Recruitment and onboarding of new hires Mediating employee relations( Provide advice, guidance and assistance on company practices and programs) Maintain compliance with federal and provincial regulations concerning employment Labour relations (union and nonunion work environments) Organize and maintain personnel records Pension and benefits administration WSIB management of claims. STD/LTD Management Assist with and maintain payrolls as required. Communicating effectively and professionally with employees to create professional relationships that ensure a sense of confidentiality, respect, and teamwork. Other relevant duties may be assigned that are not specified above.

QUALIFICATIONS

Post-secondary education in Human Resources or related discipline an asset. (But not required) 2 + years human resources or other relevant administration experience an asset Sound knowledge of Microsoft 365 Office. Experience with unionized work force is considered an asset.
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
