How will you spend your time?
You'll support the design, implementation, and administration of people practices that enhance the overall employee experience and align with organizational objectives.
Provide advice, research, and recommendations on HR best practices to strengthen culture, engagement, and organizational brand.
Lead and support recruitment activities, including job postings, interviews, and onboarding, to attract and retain top talent.
Support change management efforts and implementation, including supporting employees through change.
Administer HR policies, benefits, and programs while ensuring compliance with legislation and organizational standards.
Develop and deliver employee training and engagement initiatives, both online and in-person.
Maintain and enhance HR tools and processes, create and update intranet content, and develop internal employee communications.
Build strong relationships across the organization by providing guidance to managers and employees on HR issues, practices, and solutions.
What expertise will you bring?
You'll have a post-secondary degree or diploma in human resources (or related field) with 5+ years of HR experience; an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience will also be considered.
Completion of the Chartered Professional in Human Resources (CPHR) designation is preferred but not necessary.
Certification in or knowledge of change management methodology and frameworks.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment while maintaining confidentiality and accuracy.
Knowledge and application of relevant employment legislation, regulations, and HR best practices.
Experience with recruitment and onboarding processes, including interviewing and selection.
Experience developing or supporting employee engagement, training, or culture initiatives.
A strong collaborator, who is an excellent communicator and relationship driven.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite.
What is the pay?
$84,057 - $105,070 annually (based on qualifications and skills).
